how to run a delayed command on router boot

i have a dlink 615 and openreach modem.

i need to set the dlink to delay sending the fibre login to the openreach modem.

the modems are not on all the time so when i turn on i always have to manually do the login on the command tab

any help would be appreciated

To delay a startup command, just insert this

sleep 45;

The line before what you want delayed. This will make it wait 45 seconds before running commands coming after it. Just adjust the number accordingly. If you have commands that should run immediately, make sure those lines come before this.
