Despite of your recommendation in red, I tried the worst case!
DIR-615 rev.H
no reset, updated from 28211, no reset, restored settings from file.
No problems at all as well for router as for repeaterbridge, no error or strange lookout after first reboot.

I concede heartbeat was increasing because waiting for response after upgrading/ rebooting took "felt" longer as usual.

By the way:
You allways recommend reset and not to restore settings from a file based on previous FW. Is there any chance to printout the total settings without using numerous screenshots?

This is very interesting... when I recommend to reset, absolutely nobody does that and the build suddenly seems just perfect. When I said nothing, all kinds of bugs, issues & comments were reported, even if not actually there.

I guess next time I'll simply post a link and nothing else, it might be the best choice.

well if this upgrade concerns issues with some other hardware models different form my 615 h is there any good reasoning to upgrade the firmaware again so far i have no major issues as far my testing goes along Smile ?? I can still see you are on Ath 27506 and some RTL 28313 on your D link.
So far 28211 works great with my main router no troubles no major shit, tried a lot of clients Lan and Wlan simultaneously streaming video and playing online gaming along with some torrent and browsing and believe or not the router works great without QoS turned on... fully operational sharing 40mbit WAN at 300mbit WI FI and 100mbit lan Smile I dont know what better to expect form 28320 ?

PS and yes its painful to edit manually all the settings every time but i know its for good so im doing it every time Smile
