First time post, so sorry if I make some errors here.
I have a Rosewill RNX-N150v2 that I had successfully updated to the official dd-wrt firmware available from their site. The wifi seemed a little slower than the firmware that shipped with the router, so I thought I'd try another version. I used the Dec 10 firmware from the ftp/betas site.
I did the 30/30/30 reset, installed the factory-to-wdrt - which worked fine, reset, and installed the 2nd file. After reboot, all I'm getting is a solid power light with all of the other lights blinking together at @ 1 second intervals. I initially let that run for something over 15 minutes, but there was no change.
I've tried a hard reset and unplugging for various lengths of time. Pinging to the default 192.168.1.1 (which I had never changed) doesn't work.
I'd try the tftp firmware push, but I get "ping: transmit failed. general failure" using the static IP/DNS settings.
I'm not sure what else to do here short of buying another router, as I'm not going through the hassle of jtag/serial reset for a $10 router.
just thought i bump this up beacuse i am having the same situation. i would at least like to know if it is at least possible to recover if not it was just a movie ticket in the trash lol
