Router: ASUS RT-AC87R / RT-AC87U
Firmware: DD-WRT build 28598
Kernel: Linux 3.10.94 #5329 SMP Thu Dec 24 07:49:31 CET 2015 armv7l
Status: Working!
Reset: None.
Errors: None.

Just migrated away from asus / merlin builds and I am AMAZED by how responsive my router has just become. I was on the point of selling this unit, as it still struggles with quantenna drivers for 5ghz, even after 2 years. However, dd-wrt features help to compensate for that. Thanks for the good work. By the way, I am never buying asus router again. I cant believe how terrible their support for the quantenna has been.

Tried web gui upgrade first (from 28493 to 28598) without reset. Notwithstanding the report quoted above -> router bricked.
Next, like innumerable times before, I TFTP'd build 28598, which was succesful (settings gone, though).
For good measure, I had the router reset and reboot itself explicitely by: 'erase nvram && reboot'.
Then restored original settings (from a script generated earlier) and rebooted the router using the GUI.
It's up and running. Build 28493 ran for over a week w/o problems or rebooting.
Time will tell how this build performs ...

hardware: wzr-hp-ag300h

upgrade: ok
reset: no

back on 27745

issues/errors:

- hostapd dies when free radius client connects (for several builds yet)
- no stable wireless connection for android clients (4+5); TX rate at 1M

not retested issues/errors
- radvd provides isp dns server (lollipop clients can't resolve internal names)

in summary continuously poor stability and reliability for all musl builds yet.

Router: Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r28598 std
Kernel: Linux 3.10.94
Status: OK
Reset: erase nvram (before and after)
Errors: see below.

1) http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/4742 still applies webupgrade from r28493 -> r28598 bricks router. this is now with erase nvram/reboot before and after

2) Openssl still complain that it has no configuration file...

Code:
~# openssl
WARNING: can't open config file: /etc/ssl/openssl.cnf

3) Applying wifi mac address filtering still goes to empty dialog, add some mac to list and click save.

Aside from these issues seems to be working OK.

Router Model: Netgear WNDR4300
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r28598 std (12/24/15)
Kernel Version: Linux 3.10.94 #14406 Thu Dec 24 05:36:41 CET 2015 mips

Flash: OK
Errors: No 40Mhz Channel Width
Site Survey does not show any WLAN

Build 28211
Network: N-Only (5 GHz)
Channel Width: Wide HT40
Channel: 36 + 40 (5180 MHz)
TX Power: 20 dBm
Rate: 450 Mb/s

Client side:
Networkspeed (MB) : 300
Signal : 99%

-------------------------------

Build 28579 & 28598
Network: N-Only (5 GHz)
Channel Width: Wide HT40
Channel: 132 (5660 MHz)
TX Power: 20 dBm
Rate: 216.7 Mb/s

Client Side:
Networkspeed (MB) : 144
Signal : 80%

It looks like the driver changes in the builds after build 28211 caused the Wide Channel Width to fail.

Edit: Added Client Side info and Site Survey

Router: TP-Link WDR3600
Firmware: This one
Status: Okay
Reset: No
Errors:

5GHz just dropped out again today. The status page says that it's up and working but no device can see it.

It's fixed, at least temporarily, by either quickly switching the router off/on or hitting apply settings in the wifi page.

Router Model: DIR-825 Rev B1
Previous Firmware: 28493
Flashing Firmware: 28598
OS: Windows 8.1 x64

Status: OK
Reset: No
Errors: YES

Problem: HTTPS is not working. HTTP works fine

Problem: Somewhere between version 27775 and 28493 the DHCP server started having issues. It will forget IP's that are assigned. My Server 2012 box is running RRAS, and obtains 10 IP's from the DDWRT DHCP server to assign to VPN users. They will stay in the DHCP server for about 12 hours, then they disappear.
