Hi, i tried to change the firmware of a wrt54gl, from the linksys administrtion form firware upgrade , i browsed and istalled the dd-wrt.v23_wrt54g.bin file router loades it and after few minutes it a appeared a message "succesful upgrade" now the rooter gives ip address and the radio also works but i cannot acces it. Is there any way that i can repair it?

You should have used the dd-wrt.v23_generic.bin, the documentation states that the dd-wrt.v23_wrt54g.bin file is for upgrading via TFTP. Then after upgrading you are supposed to do a hard reset by pressing and holding the reset button for 30 seconds. If you had read the instructions you would have known this.

From the telnet services i can connect to the router.so is there anything i can do now?

push the reset button for >30 sec

i have tried it doesnt work((. with the tftp which is the appropriate file that is should use?

With the tftp program you use dd-wrt.v23_wrt54g.bin

With the router GUI you use dd-wrt.v23_generic.bin

Have you tried loading the page in your browser and pressing F5 to clear the browser cache?
