Hello DD-WRT

I found out it is possible to use my router as an IRC Bouncer, but haven't been able to find a guide I was able to follow.

I'm running DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) std - build 3932
Router is a WRT54GL v1.1
Total Memory says 14176 / 16384 KB with 2180 KB free.

Also, if I telnet my router and try "ipkg update" it looks like this:

first I write the following_
~ # ipkg update
then it waits like one second and then comes up with this, ready for next command without having done anything
~ #

ipkg list returns this:

ERROR: File not found: //jffs/usr/lib/ipkg/lists/whiterussian
You probably want to run 'ipkg update'

Does this have something to do with JFFS2?
I enabled it on the management page, and enabled clean JFFS2 aswell.
Also left it for 5 minutes after I pressed save, so that it could format or whatever the guide said it would do.

Can anyone help me set up a bouncer on my router?
