I have seen that the Netgear WGT634U and the Asus WL-500g Deluxe have the same hardware, but a different wi-fi chipset. The first use Atheros and the second use Broadcom.
The Asus WL-500g Deluxe is supported by DD-WRT, so is it possible to replace in the DD-WRT firmware the software section that manage the wi-fi chip with an Atheros?
If it is possible...
Can i load DD-WRT on my WGT634U?
i have already read that page, but i have thought:
The Asus WL-500g Deluxe is supported and the hardware of the WGT634U is the same except the wi-fi section.
So if we change the wi-fi firmware section with madwifi drivers...
Any news about dd-wrt on the WGT634U?
The different of the Asus WL-500g Deluxe and the WGT634U are the bootloader, usb-controller, wlan-chip...
I think thats be possibly to modify this things in dd-wrt and run it on the WGT634U ?
