I have a Buffalo WHR-G54S running DD-WRT v23 and Optimium online. Cablevisions Cable Modem Service.

I can't get it to register DHCP from the Cable Modem though, I've tried power cycling both, letting it sit for 48 hours to ensure any leases ecpired and toggling the Comcast option in DD-WRT on and off.

Any help would be welcome.

No Client Software , it works when directly connected or even when connected through a Belkin F5D7230-4 v800 Router (that resets a lot so I'm trying to replace it)

So as best I can tell no special settings are needed either.
