Thanks digerati Very Happy

I have just flashed my fonera to DD-WRT without any problems. Perhaps you should submit your guide to the wiki as well?

How do I do that? The only thing I know about Wiki's is how to read em.

RedBoot> fconfig -l
Run script at boot: true
Boot script:
.. fis load -l vmlinux.bin.l7
.. exec

Boot script timeout (1000ms resolution): 10
Use BOOTP for network configuration: false
Gateway IP address: 0.0.0.0
Local IP address: 192.168.1.254
Local IP address mask: 255.255.255.0
Default server IP address: 0.0.0.0
Console baud rate: 9600
GDB connection port: 9000
Force console for special debug messages: false
Network debug at boot time: false

This is what I get

Your server IP address is 0.0.0.0
You won’t be able to TFTP with that address (none) set for the server.

Re-enter the
”ip_address -l [local ip address/24] -h [remote server address]”
command making sure that the “remote server” address is set to whatever address you assigned the PC running TFTP.

Example:
ip_address –l 192.168.1.254/24 –h 192.168.1.10

where the static IP assigned to the PC running TFTP is 192.168.1.10

Thank you for the reply.
I can TFTP and HTTP to it. That print screen was before I did ip_address -l [local ip address/24] -h [remote server address]- Let me explain better wat's going on:
I did the tutorial explained in Wiki. Everything went fine, not a single error- But after the last reboot, the router wouldn't respond to anything. It should be on 192.168.1.1 but nothing here. I've tried every other possible conficuration and access but with no luck. It starts, then the Internet led keeps bleeping in random order. THe power led is steady on. The only way to contact the router is by telnet on the port 9000 with the IP 192.168.1.254 (redboot). I can access to it in any time, not just in the first 10 seconds. I guess (as stated here in this thread) that it can't go through the boot procedure and hangs. If I had the tools to make a serial cable, I could check were it hangs and what error returns.
I've tried to do the procedure from scratch with dd-wrt firmware and FON's official firmware but with no luck.
Thank you once again for your time reading this post

Well if at all possible I would try to start over with the fis init commands, essentially reflashing it.

I agree that you should start over but if I were you, I would download a different (earlier) version of the vmlinux.bin.l7 & root.fs files just to make sure the ones you have aren’t buggy or corrupt.

If you are having trouble with the wget command, you may want to follow this guide instead:

http://uselesshacks.com/?p=23

It cuts out most of the problems people are having with wget.

Is there any way you could open up your networks property page, and the http file server, take a screenshot and post it here?

Because it sound like there is probably a tiny setting out of place, and I might be able to see it if you can do that.
