Hi everyone,
I've got USR9107 4 port ADSL modem/router. I've bought linksys WRT54GL wireless router and I couldn't create a bridge from usr to linksys.Also ,I've upgraded my WRT54GL to dd-wrt firmware(v24 presp2)

However usr seems posted some sort of user guide
Code:
http://www.usr.com/support/9107/9107-ug/wui_internet.htm#bridging
I've checked it all of my settings on usr and found nothing wrong.

After that, I did search on wiki and peacock thread and I copied the mac address of modem, a few couple of times restart and 30/30/30 reset ,I tried all the settings at the router and finally after 3 hours and 6 pack I'm here.

Simply this topic looks like some silly drunk guy Laughing couldn't make a simple setting and didn't make some search then decide to post a new topic but it isn't. I really believe that I tried everything but has no chance

So is there anything I've done wrong and/or I feel that something missing.
Who's gonna help me about this connection
usr9107--->wrt54gl--->wired&wireless connected client

Thanks in advance

That is guaranteed to fuck it up. Put the MAC address back the way it was.

You are definitely right where you need to be...

The odds are purdy good.
Follow this guide, all the way up to the trouble shooting section. When you get there and it still does not work, holler back for some more trouble shooting.

The USR9107 is not a wireless router so the bridging the OP has in mind is prolly modem bridge mode.

That is one helluva clue as to why ...

I had done a quick google product search for the USR, but when it came up empty I gave up.

Edit - Well, the mistake was mine in assuming a "wireless" bridge. Lemme read the link the OP provided...

You do realize that if you reset the WRT to factory defaults and change it's LAN IP to 192.168.2.1 and connect it's WAN port to the LAN port of the USR, the WRT will give internet service out it's LAN ports and also wirelessly ?

The only draw back would be double NAT. Can you live with double NAT ?

Thanks for your replies.
@LOM ,yes usr is wired modem and I tried to connect wrt's wan port to usr lan port of course via modem bridged mode and I've failed :D

anyway, thanks to link that GeeTek provided actually it didn't help me because I'm not trying to set a repeater bridge and I realized that it's not bridge mode what I want it's wireless access point.
Then I've found this
Code:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge#Accessing_Both_Routers.3F

so far so good, connection established and I'm happy.I mean I can test all function of dd-wrt firmware.
But there is one thing I've to ask -dont know it's the right place- couldn't be the wiki more descriptive,I mean my problem was using the wrt as an access point but somehow I mention it bridge.anyway problem solved

Thanks again GeeTek and LOM I wish that I could buy a drink to you but until the next time
farewell
