Dear all,

I'm having one good WRT54G v5/6 router, running VxWorks, and one bad WRT54G v5 one, running dd-wrt, which I failed to follow the method mentioned by the page www.bitsum.com to come back to stock from dd-wrt.

I wonder whether I can use JTAG to back-up bootloader, nvram, and kernel from the good one, and use that to flash on the bad one?

Has anyone tried this? If yes, did it work?

Thanks!

Thank you LOM for the information. I'll try to do that tonight.

I flashed bootloader and kernel some days ago on my WRT54G, and to me the time needed was acceptable: about 8 minutes for bootloader and 1,5 hours for the kernel.
