I have noticed with the new requirement to use ipkg for usb support on this model.
I have been trying with no luck for the past two days to get this to work.
when everyone else seems to run ipkg and they get the error of it not finding the lists,
it seems that the path it is pointing to is something like:
Quote:
ERROR: File not found: //jffs/usr/lib/ipkg/lists/whiterussian
You probably want to run `ipkg update'
ERROR: File not found: //jffs/usr/lib/ipkg/lists/non-free
You probably want to run `ipkg update'
I get them as :
Quote:
ERROR: File not found: /usr/lib/ipkg/lists/whiterussian
You probably want to run `ipkg update'
ERROR: File not found: /usr/lib/ipkg/lists/non-free
You probably want to run `ipkg update'
This is driving me nuts because i could possibly patch something up since i have already got the /jffs directory mounted as a smb share. So i have lots of room to play with.
PS. alot of stuff in the WIKI on start up scrips doesnt work for what ever reason on V24 since i still haven't got even one of them to run without 'hardcoding' it into the rc_startup nvram variable.
