Well, I couldn't go from factory to DD-WRT in the so-called CFE min webserver (i.e., the one where I keep pressing the restore button). I clicked "upload," and after 10 minutes, nothing happened.
But it worked under the regular web GUI, using the same mini file.
I already completed this steps and all ok.
“13) Internet was still working
Basic dd-wrt firmware flashin is done and router is up. Now, you may navigate to various places in router page and needed options can be selected.
Goto Services->Services->"Secure Shell". Enable SShd for SSH access (via putty/winSCP) ”
Because I will not use download and 3G, therefore I didn't do next steps. but I met a problem, the router can't read USB flash disk.
When I plug in the usb flash disk, the green light will not response, and can't find any extra disk on my computer, I already open usb core and SSH option, anybody know how to do ? I only want to share usb flash disk in the network.

I have Belkin Share (F7D3302) router with DD-WRT and I get packet loss! Almost every 10 ping try to google.com lost.
I have test dd-wrt.v24-18946_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_f7d3302.bin and dd-wrt.v24-18946_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega.bin firmware combination and newest (dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_f7d3302.bin and dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega.bin) one also.

Hi, I have a Belkin F7D7302 v1, I followed the instructions of the wiki and was able to get dd-wrt working.
I flashed the trailed version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/25/13) mini(SVN revision 21061).
I want to flash the mega version of DD-WRT 7.5MB, the specs of my Belkin say that it has 8MB, now reading the forums it says that all Belkin routers should use TFTP transfers to flash
But in the peacokc thread they said TFTP just can transfer 4MB at most, so it is possible to get the mega version workin in my router?
I want to use this firmware: "dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega" or it is a better option?

I just followed the original post, and successfully installed dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega on my F7D7302. There was no problem flashing that mega package over web.
BTW, anyone successfully used USB-3G-dongle on that build 21061? I failed to start 3G WAN connection. Should I switch to build 16773?
And, can I install b16773 just by "upgrading" using web GUI from b21061?

I had a similar problem but I fixed it by following the guide on a different computer that had Windows Vista and IE9 and it worked.
I didn't want to try lethalfang's method because this guy semi-bricked his router doing it. Has anyone else tried flashing from the regular web GUI?
I would just like to add that, after installing K26 mega from the router database, if you want to upgrade your mega install, you just go to the beta builds under broadcom-K26 and select the build that is just a plain mega. No NV60, etc, and you do **not** need on with F7D3302 in the title.
Even though it's tempting to try to flash the K3.x builds because they have F7D3302 in the title, they do not work if you are already on the K2.6 mega. You'll get an "upgrade successful" message, but your build will never upgrade, which is frustratingly confusing and I ran into this myself.

I actually have the F7D7302 which is essentially the same as the f7d3302.
I just want to report that I upgraded from the Belkin firmware update GUI also without problems. In my case changing to a static IP to use the CFM update would have been a pain on my custom Linux config so I opted to try it (The routher was less than $30).
I first used the trailed build from the router database. Then I used the normal mega build.

I tried the most recommended method, CFE min webserver, and after I clicked upload, 5 minutes later my browser (OS X/Firefox) timed out. Even if I waited a long time the router didn't reset.
Next, I tried the Belkin normal firmware update GUI, and it worked great. Next loaded mega the usual way. Did not try the USB, which some ppl have reported broken.

I've been using 16773 Mega - Eko Build [DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/11/11) mega (SVN revision 16773M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko)] on my Belkin Share F7D3302 v1 router without any trouble for more than 1.5 years.
Almost everything works perfectly, (except the HotSpot Portals, which are quiet old actually, but nevermind.) so I strongly recommend this build to the F7D3302 owners.
After studying these posts, I installed the dd-wrt in a Belkin F7D3302 v1. I found one at a thrift store for $6. I used the method described at the beginning of this post. This included:
Router:
Set to factory default condition:
DCHP enabled
IP: 192.168.2.1
Used the 30/30/30 reset method.
This provided the boot to CFE mini webserver.
First browser Firefox 37.0.2
Used downloads:
dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_f7d3302.bin
dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega.bin
After selecting the "mini" version and clicking upload the screen just stayed on "connecting" indefinitely. Tried this more than once. Unplugging and replugging power brought the standard router screens back, so nothing had happened. After reading in other posts that we should try something different, in the event that CFE mini webserver did not load firmware, I tried Internet Explorer version 8.
Internet Explorer version 8:
This loaded the
dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_f7d3302.bin
successfully.
The upgrade worked and after Unplugging and replugging power I could access the internet.
I changed settings:
Services
USB
Enabling all
Disk mount point /mnt
and found that this version did not like an NTFS USB external hard drive. I installed a USB thumb drive and it accepted that file system, Fat 16. I still need to work out the NTFS connection.
Then I set
Services
NAS
workgroup: MSHOME
Shares: /mnt, redUsb, and public
This allowed the XP computer and other computers on another router to freely access the redUsb thumb drive using Windows Explorer, with no login or password.
Success!
This showed me something I have looked for, over the last few years, regarding access from Windows computers to a Linux machine hard drive, Ubuntu GUI or Server versions. In those instances, I could see the Ubuntu machine in Windows Explorer, but could not access it. I was always asked for a user name and password to get to the Ubuntu Linux, but had no idea what is was or how to set it. This experience may provide a clue as to how to set a Ubuntu or Linux machine so the hard drive can be accessed on a local network.

I suppose it's too late for answer to you personally, but since users will still get to this page maybe it would benefit to someone else..
