I bought on Monday Netgear's WNDR3800 (on Costco), but later today I found about the TL-WR1043ND in a local technology store.
So far the WNDR3800 device have been working good with DD-WRT latest version 06-08-12-r19342 (BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2). I get great speed and excellent wireless reception with this device.
However I wonder if the TL-WR1043ND is a better device than the WNDR3800. Have anyone try both or could give me some feedbacks?
Thanks!
Edit: I have updated the question, because the original model I asked for does not support DD-WRT. So the new model from the same brand is TL-WR1043ND.

Hopefully you are aware that the TP-link you listed is currently un-supported by dd-wrt? Be that as it may, between the 2 routers you listed, the WNDR3800 would currently be the only one you could use with dd-wrt.
Ha! I'm sorry! I thought it was compatible, maybe it was other TP-link model. I'll check what other routers they have in the local tech store to see any other compatible with DD-WRT.
Edit: I have updated the OP with a new model that is compatible with DD-WRT.
