can you teach me how flash Belkin n750DB the first time ? Thank you from Italy

dd-wrt is not available for the Belkin N750.

Only Padavan firmware is available. You can find youtube video demontrating Padavan menus.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he095MmvF08

To install the Padavan firmware, download file beginning BN750DB****.
https://app.box.com/s/2wxyv4cjdgd52m4a1wzd

fwiw, I used BN750DB_3.0.3.8-084_base.trx

Then log into your Belkin router (192.168.2.1) and go to the menu option for installing firmware file manually.

After the Padavan firmware has been successfully installed, the router's new IP address will become 192.168.1.1.

Be warned if you later decide to return to Belkin stock firmware, you may encounter some minor issues such as with default SSID and password not matching the label on the bottom of the router.

Thank you for your quick answer. I done what you wrote in Utilities > Firmware Update. After the countdown , nothing change: still stock firmware 1.10.17 . Please help me !

Is your Boot version and Hardware the same as shown in Coniglio picture?

My Belkin had same values before I successfully upgraded to Padavan.

Only other suggestion is to factory reset the router and try again. Try also the 'Nano' build.

Perhaps try downgrading to Belkin 1.10.16 to see if your N750 is still accepting stock firmware updates?

Bump to see if anyone has been successful setting up 2 Belkin 750's???
Tips I followed are Example of AP-Client from here: https://code.google.com/p/rt-n56u/wiki/CommonTips?wl=en#Using_a_second_router_to_increase_the_coverage_area_of_Wi

I guess I can try to help you, I have 2 N750 and I use a 5GHz link to bridge the 2, extending my 2.4GHz wireless range.
I have had some problem during initial setup, but it has been working nicely for months now (hence why I did not come back in a while).
In my case, I run the following config:
Main router:
- FW 78.55.53.48-078
- DHCP ON
- both radios as AP only
- IP: 192.168.10.1

Extender
- 78.55.53.48-073 (it works, I'm too lazy to upgrade)
- DHCP OFF
- 2.4GHz: AP only
- 5GHz: AP-Client only to first
- IP: 192.168.10.3

My setup mostly works. One problem is that my DLNA/upnp servers cannot go across the wireless link. Not a big problem.

Hi everyone! Just registered, however I've been using this great fw for a couple of months now.

@radmir, a direct question: is there any chance to get snmpd included in the base package? It would help a lot with the monitoring!

Many thanks for your effort and great results!

I have some trouble witch update my Belkin N750 DB from version BN750DB_3.0.3.8-082 to BN750DB_3.0.3.8-084 Sad
After update router looks like dead no DHCP can’t access to IP 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1
but I have found solution to fix it
setup computer IP address too
10.10.10.3
Hard reset router 30/30/30
Connect by web browser to IP 10.10.10.123 and from this recovery site install Belink firmware
Then I have back to BN750DB_3.0.3.8-082

snmpd is not included in git tree. I make only necessary changes to get it worked on our devices. Sorry.

I notice the 085 build has reverted to using 3.4 kernel, which was used in builds up to 078. Is there any explanation?

Padavan figured out reason why 3.4.x has perfomance degradation compared to 3.0.x on mips platform and resolved this issue.
Now Padavan's 3.4.x kernel is the fastest for mips!
