hi, i just downloaded the firmware 087, flashed it but i can't find my router to connect to it, the blue LED is on, i can't see the wifi SSID and when connecting through LAN it says, unindentified network, please help
The router address is now 192.168.1.1 so you'll have to adjust for that. The default SSID is probably ASUS and ASUS_5G.
Hi Radmir, i can't find the dmasq tab, is it not implemented?also, do you use netflix+chromcast?i'm getting all different errors, (16001 and oops i shouldn't be here,) i'm using smartydns on the wan dns settings, do you have iptable script to run to avoid talking to google servers?thanks
i was wanting to prioritize VoIP WiFi Calling from my phone.
i use google voice and groove ip quite a bit from my cell phones inside this home.
i was looking at tmobile's wifi calling feature and they also sell an updated asus router that supposibly has these settings pre-configured to make handing off from wifi calling to cell towers seemless.
from what i read they have special settings but to my understanding it has to have QoS enabled.
Has anyone successfully got DLNA media server working?
I am using BN750DB_3.4.3.8-088_dlna.trx
The DLNA client (Sony smart TV) sees the media server but cannot find any content.
I am using a 32GB FAT32 flash drive and the Belkin doesn't seem to detect/scan the contents. The Mini-DLNA status page shows Nil files detected.
When I reinstated the Belkin stock 1.10.17 UK firmware, the built in Twonky media server works fine.
(I also managed to semi-brick the F9k1103 when I disabled both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi when the Belkin stock firmware is in use. I could ping the router but could not load the GUI. Holding the reset button down for more than 15 secs did not clear the fault. Eventually, I had to connect a serial cable to the router and TFTP Padavan ***084_base.trx to it, using the method I documented for Samsung CY-SWR1100 router elsewhere in this forum. It is now running stock Belkin firmware again)
Once you are up and running with your latest firmware, don't forget to reboot your modem (especially if you're using PPPoE) as the router MAC address will have changed.
If i understood correctly - using scripts to add QOS wont yield any results since there are no QOS kernel modules in any of the padavan builds for n750?
EDIT:
My lazy ass found older build with QOS kernel module.
Would you mind uploading one of the newer builds with QOS radimir?
I need to somehow limit devices in my flat from hogging the connection when upload selfie spree starts each evening. And sadly breaking phones is not a way to go...
