I have currently got the following build:

DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/17/11) mega(SVN revision 17084M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko)

And its working okay for me with what I need to do however I see from the SVN that there are some fixes and updates that may well improve things for me but I am once again confused about which one to go for, I am thinking of moving to Brainslayer as his appear to be more up to date:

Is this the right one to flash to or will I encounter issues with this one?

The newer versions are buggy. I think the recommended version is 14929. Read the Peacock thread.

If it's stock firmware, I think it might need the 610 trailed build, at least for the first flash?

I've not been here since I upgraded my 600n and just got a 610n v1 very, very cheap.

I'm looking to stick dd-wrt on it too and k26/NEWD2 was just starting to be discussed since I was here last.

I skimmed the updated (since I last looked) peacock thread, but I'm just dizzy too trying to figure out what build to use.

EDIT: wiki/sticky threads for the win. I see the newest builds of k26 need a corerev > 16 too. I'll have to see what I have when I get it.
