Finally i recieved my USB 2.0 to TTL UART 6PIN CP2102 Module, to unbrick my E3000. I removed plastic cover, cleaned 3 places for GND, Tx, Rx on my E3000 and tried to keep 3 wires, opened putty for my COM5, configured correctly. Each time i started my E3000, it started to write text correctly, bug i just tried to press wires by fingers, so it was not reliable. But after few tries it stopped working, already i wanted to make it more stable, so fix it by soldering iron. But no luck anymore, in putty no response, nothing. Dont understand that. Might be that i coul with these GND, Tx, Rx damage or TTL UART 6PIN module, or something in E3000? _________________ 1 x Asus RT-N18U

if:
a wire strand touched VCC and TX at the same time with the router powered on, you have fried the serial circuit (ask me how I know). _________________ [Moderator Deleted]

maybe not.. connect your adapters rx and tx together and see if your key strokes are echo'd in your terminal. It is possible that the adapter is the problem.
If not, you can still probably recover your router with jtag. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]
Touch the rx and tx wires together and hit some keys on your keyboard. See if they show up in putty or whatever you are using. _________________ I am far from a guru, I'm barely a novice.

So is it good or bad? I guess, module is OK, means serial port in my E3000 is probably damaged? _________________ 1 x Asus RT-N18U

Magic, pin short 8 9 did the job, device is debricked, working. Dont need any cables, serial ports emulators, nothing. _________________ 1 x Asus RT-N18U
