My WRT150N v1.1 with dd-wrt firmware seems to be broken.
At first the unit was rebooting every few minutes, I then reset the unit to factory default.
It worked okay, I was able to see the SSID DD-WRT and login to the webinterface.
That worked for maybe 30 minutes, then the unit became unvailable on the network and also the SSID disappeared.
Now the LED status is like this:
No LED on if no network cable is connected.
If a network cable is connected the Ethernet port number is on solid.
The power LED is just very light on, as if there is a LED glimming far away.
I tried to reset it again, also via 30/30/30 with the reset button but no chance to reach it on any of the IP addresses. I tested 192.168.1.1 (default DD-WRT) and also the IP it had before the very first reset.
No ping. Also not during boot up.
Any chance? The device is out of guarantee linksys said.
First, check your power supply. _________________ SIG:

Next, read the peacock announcement. All of the required reading but note 6 and 7 in particular. _________________ SIG:

Set a static IP of 192.168.1.7 on your computer and ping 192.168.1.1. _________________ SIG:

Go on to serial recovery. _________________ SIG:

sounds quite complicated, especially if I need to solder something on the board. Do you know if there are pics somewhere how to do that on the WRT150N? I found a youtube video how to open the device, but that is all.
And what is your idea? Is it possible that the hardware is really broken and also serial recovery will not solve the issue in the end, is just a waste of time?
