Does anyone know why my RT-N16 shows only 95% of the memory available? See attached.

There is nothing to worry about. Your kernel have cached 71708KB of memory and it will be freed whenever it is needed. That's the way kernel 2.6 memory management works.

Sure you don't mean 15758? Does everything display correctly, model, ram and such?

@D_S

Use latest from kong, 17140, Update 08.06.11. I'm using it now and it's working very good so far. (Including old wifi drivers)

I am using 17140 08.07.11 that would be 17140.4 it's working well too. prob still has old NEWD2 as well, since no bugs have been worked out.

@Kong, thanks a million for enabling USB by default.

Kong or ht, can you confirm if Twonky can be installed and run under the kong builds?

Yes I know the miniDLNA server is there.. but just curious about Twonky.

Currently I have 'stdkong - build 17462M' on my RT-N16 on trial basis installed. So far it seems running stable, until now no issues as I had with build 16994 (Wifi + DynDNS).

But this Kong-Mod has a painfull drawback for me: no sftp! I need it badly.
Is there or was there ever a Kong-Mod Version, which had sftp included?

Why not use scp instead, that's what I use.

Unfortunately scp can not replace sftp for my use. I use 'Cyberduck' via sftp to browse the filesystem, copy, move, edit files on the fly and many other stuff, which I can not do via scp/ssh/Terminal that comfortable with just few clicks as with sftp and Cyberduck. With Cyberduck I administrate all my embedded Linux-Boxes.

However, this morning the wifi problem came back with Kong-Mod 17462M, not as massive as with 16994 would have been, but it came back. The wifi-rate has been dropping down to 18mbit/s. In case of 16994 I would not have been able to connect via wifi at this time anymore.
I'm using 'G-only' and CH11. I have no channel conflicts from my neighborhood. Besides that, I did never have problems like that with my old router WRT54G and v23 SP2.

I will watch this some further days and if it get worse I will start to trial older dd-wrt builds.
