load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} redboot220.bin
fis create RedBoot

My 2100 is dead, no lights and does not respond to putty.

Now only put live with JTAG, does anyone have manual and software for windows, my 2100 is, rev A4, the flash is S29AL032D

I asked you where did you get this redboot220 and what do you want to do with it. I got answer from you would flash your stock firmware with OpenWRT, so I asumed you know what are you doing. This is dd-wrt forum and DWL-2100AP isn't supported yet so this was the wrong place to ask help. Anyway I can help you with jtag this weekend.

There is major difference between redboot.bin(ROM) and redboot.img(RAM) variants. I used redboot220.img (RAM version chainloaded from factory loader) to put Ramponis redboot.bin to atmel flash. Reiter, who compiled this redboot220 (bin&img) claimed it was compiled only for spansion flash so I couldn't write redboot220.bin into atmel, see:

https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=99886#p99886

There is newer hw. rev. on the market with MX29LV800BTC-90 (ID=005b man ID=00c2) flash, so we have now four different flash chips used in DWL-2100AP, see:

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dwl-2100ap#hardware.highlights

One way to get this solved is to sort out both RAM/ROM loders for respective flash chips used in DWL-2100AP or solve it once for ever and compile dd-wrt microredboot for all flash chips used within DWL-2100AP. Sash, please can you help?

I try install dd-wrt using dir300(a1) instruction.
But first stage "load ap61.ram" don't work.

I compiled microredboot for 2100AP - AP48, AP43 - and flash over jtag to FLASH. no work. no com port out. (compile microredboot for AR2315 AP51 - work well in NS2)
64KB size

How insert in microredboot text "hello, world" for out to com-port on first step (init and unpack second step), and how insert debug text in second step?

How on debug mode for com-port debug messages?

Why not work? Last version not test with old devices?

May be not correct adresses?

------

Also i try compile microredboot Ubiuiti NS5 (AR2313 too, hardware analog 2100AP) - no work, no com-port messages..
64KB size
------------

I compile openwrt Redboot and flash in 2100AP - work well
192KB size
