flashed to the new beta firmware. now it's asking to reactivate, but the button to select superchannel activation is grayed out in the activation center, so it can only generate dd-wrt keys.

that's exactly the point, it will not let you select and generate a reactivation key for superchannel. it only defaults to generating ddwrt keys even if you paste the request key from the superchannel.asp

and after pasting the activation key thus generated, the router resets, and superchannel.asp persists. activation center credits another ddwrt reactivation instead of a superchannel reactivation.

hence the superchannel reactivation is not working on 18687! and yes i paid for a separate superchannel key!

Contact the shop by their email address, they will sort out your problems. It can't be done in the user forum.

contacted the shop and was told this could be a build error, since after the key is entered, the router resets, but superchannel.asp persists.

I had the issue asking for the reactivation, but on the 18777 it has worked. Some other issues appeared, but not this one.
