Hello,

After extensive search on this forum and other googling, i found similar answers to my issue, but none helping.

Have 1 Netgear WNDR3700 DDWRT V24SP2 r16785
Configured as a gateway, has active connection to internet, and host the Wifi+lan network 192.168.11.0.
WAN IP: Dynamic, connected to Internet : OK
LAN IP 192.168.11.1
SSID 2.4GHZ: SSF
Act as well as a DHCP Server.

AP 1: Fonera 2200 V24SP2 r17201
WAN Phy Interface, wired to WNDR3700 Ethernet port 1
(assigned Fonera 2200 WAN port to switch, and disabled Firewall, dns masq off,Router Mode and DHCP Forwarder)
IP: 192.168.11.2
SSID 2.4GHZ: SSF

In this AP, if i connect a Wifi Laptop, everything goes well, laptop gets his ip adress from main Gateway , i can browse the net , so far so good

AP 2: Fonera 2201 V24SP2 r17201
WAN Phy Interface, wired to WNDR3700 Ethernet port 2
(assigned Fonera 2201 WAN port to switch, and disabled Firewall, dns masq off,Router Mode and DHCP Forwarder), basicly same configuration than Fonera 2200, appart that i don't use the 2nd ethernet port of Fonera 2201
IP: 192.168.11.3
SSID 2.4GHZ: SSF

On this one, nothing works,i can associate with AP,buti can not get DHCP adress from the gateway.
If i force IP adress to 192.168.11.15 on the wifi card of the laptop, then i can connect to 192.168.11.3 web gui. Pinging the WNDR3700 gateway is not successfull

I found difference between 2200 and 2201
2200 : 1 wan port, ath0 and eth0 bridged
2201: 1 lan port, 1 wan port ath0 and vlan0 and vlan1 bridged.
I have tried alsmot every possible combinations, and i am still not successfull, tried to connect ethernet cable to gateway on 2201 lan port, but no success.

Any idea ?
Thanks!

I forgot to mention that WAN is disabled by default on 2201, and wan port assigned to switch. No fix.

It won't work because vlan is not supported. You can only bridge it with br0.

It Worked !

So i made a hard reset of the Fonera 2201, reapplied same settings as 2200, without assigning wan port to switch. Did not have to assign eth0 to Br0, as it was working already. Made sur that dhcp server was set to dhcp forwarder and here comes the magic.

Thanks a lot FYI, appreciate that.
Cheers, Wink

I think you don't have to. Just disable it.
