I have dd wrt on my wireless router. I need to be able to access my cable modem as if i was connected directly to it instead of having the wireless route their, how do i do this ? I a using software that cannot have anything in the middle. For it to work correct it has to have a direct path to the cable modem which is plugged into the WAN. DO i need to set a static ?
I'm not sure how to use this software, but you could try a static IP address instead and see if that works. If SNMP is what you are trying to accomplish there is a free software called wall watcher. You must go into the DD-WRT interface and input what IP address the computer has wallwatcher installed to and enable SNMP.Under administration/ services. SNMP and the syslogd options.

to do that... simply disable dhcp in the router.... _________________ WHR-HP-G54 Repeater mode
