I'm using a Linksys WRT54Gv5 running dd-wrt v24-sp2 micro - build 18946M NEWD Eko. I run a SHOUTcast radio server on my desktop. For a while I could not use a domain name assigned to my webserver from within the network until I came across a topic on here which says to run "iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -j MASQUERADE" under Firewall commands. I added the command and I was able to use my domain within the local network AND outside the network. But after that anytime someone connected to my shoutcast server externally the shoutcast config page shows them as the router ip 192.168.1.1 no matter how many people connect, it's all the router IP versus showing their external IP. Is it possible to have that command active AND somehow get the router to resolve external IPs correctly? Or is there a better command to use to get NAT loopback enabled that doesn't have this drawback?
