hjacobson,

How went the testing using the AirRouter firmware?

I haven't yet changed from AirOS to DD-WRT on my PowerAP N due to time constraints.

Currently the PowerAP N is linked by wire to the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 AP-router (running DD-WRT v24 SP2) on my wireless network. The PowerAP N is configured as a wireless-N only AP with its own unique SSID and channel. The WHR-HP-G54 doesn't do 802.11n; I'd love to replace it with the PowerAP N. That has to wait till I can make the PowerAP N do DHCP reservations with either its native AirOS or DD-WRT.

I'd love to play with the PowerAP N; unfortunately I just can't make the time.

Yes, I understand what you mean.
It took me 2 weeks to plug in the PowerAP N and realise that its not has simple as our Draytek V3300. Going back to the Draytek so that I can get on the bench next to my trusty WRT54GL and hammer the PowerAP until its tuned.

Oh, and I'm not using any of this three for WiFi.

OK!

My PowerAP N successfully migrated to DD-WRT v24 pre sp2 svn 17201. It's run for a week as repeater bridge. I've re-configured the thing as Gateway-AP and will replace the old but reliable Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 Gateway-AP as soon as my wife shuts down her home office.

More to follow......
