I hooked up a USB hub, Cyberpower CP-H420P, to my WZR-600DHP (Buffalo firmware). After which my USB drive stopped showing up in the NAS tab and my printer doesn't show up when I browse to the router either.

I did some reading and here's the dmesg output:

My printer, and I also think my hard drive, seems to show up. What gives?

Just realized the USB hub has a bad port. I got it for free from a friend's junk drawer. That got my hard drive working. Now I'm trying to figure out the printer. I haven't configured anything so I can assume there's a menu somewhere to tinker with.

Installed p910nd and added this to startup.

/jffs/usr/sbin/p910nd -b -f /dev/usb/lp0 0
/bin/mkdir -m 755 -p /dev/usb
/bin/mknod -m 660 /dev/usb/lp0 c 180 0

That probably doesn't help anyone too much. But I can hope. (Obviously JFFS has to be mounted as a prerequisite.)
