Tenda W330R - unable to downgrade firmware

Hi, as the title states i am unable to downgrade firmware of my router, router can be "upgraded" via the web interface, it even let me enter the old firmware, it starts upgrading, but after router reboots, its still on the "newest" firmware.

Reason that i want to do this, there seems to be some sort of bug with iOS devices (connection stops working after a while) but it works fine with my laptop etc etc...

And i can confirm that it was working well on the old firmware

I know this isn't probably the right place to ask this question, but i already spend days googling around and you guys were my best bet.
