Posted: Sat Aug 27, 2011 8:12 Post subject: Bricked Linksys E1000 v2 TTL flash problem
I bought this Linksys E1000 v2 two days ago and flashed a wrong version to the device and then it was bricked.
When it's powered on, it can't be connected even I fix a IP in my computer. It's totally dead.
Then, I bought a USB-TTL, successfully flashed the firmware I downloaded from Linksys to the device but the following error occurred:
"Invalid boot block on disk"
I tried again to flash dd-wrt for v2, no joy.

Read the serial recovery wiki article. You should be flashing linksys firmware for your unit. It looks like a micro jtag port next to that serial port, if you cannot get the serial to work. _________________ SIG:
