The new build isn't detecting my Huawei EC1260 CDMA modem (Reliance). My UMG1831 GSM modem works just fine!

added support for Linktop LW27x 3G modems

Hi amit is it a seperate module or scripting?
Can you point me in right direction?
18777 stock doesn't have support - was trying to add it as I have one LW27x modem...

I need to include cp437 driver into stock build 18777. Kindly tell me the best way to include it into it.

I tried 18007 by amitg0123, it included cp437 but only two of the eight partitions in my hdd were loaded.

Thanks for the awesome builds guys ! It feels great to see such resourceful people sharing amongst each other for the common good.

MTS/Huawei EC 1561, vendor ID 12d1, device ID 140b is not working with DD-WRT. Device ID is detected as 1505.

Not sure how to fix this.

Neither am I since you didn't tell which build number you are using, I don't even understand why you wrote a post without that info.

Your modem got dd-wrt support in svn18756 so you need a build higher than that.

Guys please help!
updated to 18777 the other day and I still can't get the automount stuff to work on my 16GB fat32 usb...´
i´ve tried the "Automounting ext3/FAT/FAT32/NTFS" form the wiki, and a post from xuancool from page 54 of "will dd-wrt support ..." (by the way the scripts are totally different from the wiki?!)

tried modding both scripts with what i believe applied to my case (just fat32 partition) and still nothing.

I'm i not supposed to enter these codes in the admin>commands then save and save as startup?!

I mean, I really hated the stock 2.0.2.0 firmware of my rev b1 because it constantly crashed, but i have to recognize that mounting a usb was a breeze for lamers like me!

can you please, please send me the script modded to my single 16 GB fat32 partition?

ps: most times i can't even understand when you talk about doing this or doing that, if it is supposed to be done directly in the admin>commands tab, or through telnet/putty?!?! yeah, that's how lame I am Sad

ps2: then I see articles like "Simple NAS Setup on the WNR3500L with DD-WRT" and I do that in hopes that everything will sort itself out, but still no luck - I know, I know, you will ask me to repartition with ext3 so on and so forth, but isn't there any way that one can have our fat32 pen working in dd-wrt "right out of the box" - as this is how they are sold to us. I think that the ability to easily mount stuff, just like in stock firmwares from many different routers, would be a huge plus for dd-wrt (given the amount of complaints of people not being able to mount network attached drives) here

Hi all,

I have just uploaded a new version v7 based on 18777 build. Please check the first post for the changes and the firmware itself...

Enjoy!

hey amitg0123,

installed it a few hours ago and finally i can mount my fat32 pen once again!

on the downside, after fiddling the router's options to my likings - nothing extraordinary, just enabling usb stuff to mount the pen, then setting NAS > Samba to access the pen, and the remainder stuff (wifi, dhcp, etc) I cannot access the router neither via LAN or Wifi ?! even set it up to my USB 3G dongle can access internet, but still cannot access the router's interface?
This is the second time that after setting everything up, lost access to the router, only regaining by the 30-30 procedure.

What in the earth could be happening? I really really would like to mount my flash drive and I can only do it through your modd, but then I loose control of the router itself?!

@bintoito, I am not sure what do you mean by loosing control of router. FYI, my router is running perfectly on this mod since last 3days or so.

@facsi, No. I tried previously to build busybox but some how the configuration was reset each time and didn't found much time to check the exact issue. I suggest you to file a bug report upstream.

hey amitg,

the loose control was typing 192.168.1.1 and not being able to access the router's web interface...

in the meantime I reflashed back to stock, and strangely same things has happened...after fiddling with the settings, i could no longer access the router...

In the meantime, happened to leave in it's default setting (ON) the Allow any remote IP, as before I always turned that feature OFF and then selected the 192.168.1.1 to 254 range for the allowed IP's. After not messing with this setting, everything is working great!!

...Could you please try to disable this setting in your router to test if same thing happens to you?

Cheers and thanks for you effort Wink

I am new to DD-WRT and RT-N13U/B1. So please execuse if these issues have already been addressed.

I have loaded DD-WRT standard release 18777 in my router and I have following issues with that

- Doesn't recognize any partitions other than ext2/3. I am unable to manually mount other partitions like NTFS or FAT32. with stock FW, I could easily connect the USB drives with NTFS/FAT32.

- The virtual/guest network can not connect to internet. Other machines can connect using wifi to the virtual/second network, but can not access internet.

If I use the FW mod from amit, does that fix both these issues or only the first one? I am assuming with this mod, I don't need to install optware or load FS support modules, please confirm.

Since amit's FW is .trx file and since I am already running DD-WRT, should I be using ASUS FW restoration utility to install this mod? Or is there a .bin file available elsewhere?

Thanks.
