Hi there, i got an error with gpio 7 led and sesbutton script to unmount and killall services.

Does anyone got these erros too?

Are you referring to the led_gpio.c I posted above ? If so what is the error message ? I have the modified the sesbutton script to use WPS button. It was a quick and dirty edit, not something I'll be proud to post here, but it works. Let me know if you need it.

The problem with the asus rt-n13u B1 firmware is that eko compiled it with "std" version =\. It should be compiled with "mega"

Please Eko, compile it with mega!!!

Thanks

+1 From what I've been finding out in the general forums, this might be why I can't mount my mac formatted drives. I'd sure <3 a mega compile (maybe with a working inadyn?)

From now, i would like it just to be compiled with mega. Fixing inadyn will take some time. =D

thanks so much for the firmware. I installed it on my new n13/b1 router, installed asterisk and some packages and most of them worked fine.

issues I have so far,

noticed that some commands were not in the flash and installation scripts were complaining, such as "netstat", "chown", etc.

The other issue is ddns. I tried dl and run "/opt/sbin/inadyns --input_file /tmp/ddns/inadyn.conf" and got error in log below. anyone got it working?

You need to configure ddns from the webgui or add -u username -p password of your ddns account to the startup script command. The inadyns binary looks up the username and password in nvram

Do i need to put the router in recovery mode to flash or just simple tftp ?

I never tried tftp but used the asus firmware restoration utility which requires you to put your router in recovery mode.

This post is somewhat old, but I think it's useful to point a few details.

I don't have any computers with Windows, so I had no choice but use tftp. This is simple:

1. Put the router in recovery mode;
2. Set your computer IP address to 192.168.1.15 <-- this is an important step;
3. Just upload the new firmware (remember to set it to binary).

Doing a hard reset after that is probably a good idea. Hope this helps.

Also, I can't be thankful enough for the mod. It is great. Thanks.

A few questions for you awesome dd-wrt users! I'm trying to turn my Asus router into a $20 Airport Extreme. So:

Is optware what I need if I want to install netatalk?
What instructions should I follow if I want to install opware?
How do I install FS drivers for apple format drives?

Loving this firmware so far. So much better than the original stuff.

Hi all,

I have just uploaded a new version (v5) with following changes:

  • fixed ddns issue (included inadyn from svn)
  • added support for Linktop LW27x 3G modems (BSNL)

Enjoy!

Thanks!! Do we have to flash the modem again, or can I just use the upgrade function?

Thanks!

BTW, I am doing this in my free time and never feel the need of financial support yet.

Thank you again for the appreciations...
