I've done the hard reset, have turned off all firewalls on my computer, turned off wireless and just connected through a physical ethernet cord to the router.

As I begin the upgrade, about 2% of the way in, I get an offline webpage message saying the connection to 198.168.1.1 has been lost, or something similar.

I still have my router connected to the modem, is that incorrect?

I cannot think of any other reason this wouldn't be working.

Thanks ahead of time for any assistance!

OS and browser? have you cleared your browsers cache & cookies?

are you sure you are flashing the correct build for a V1?

Did you set yourself a static address within that subnet?

Windows 7, Google Chrome. Just cleared cache and cookies, still no luck.

I am also following the wiki for my router -- my router tag and box are both missing a version number, so I'm just assuming I have version 1.

Also, the error message says the connection was interrupted.

No, how do I go about doing that?

(Sorry, I'm fairly new.)

Use IE

IE still comes up with a connection lost page.
