Still no one responding to this. I really want support for this router. I even messaged BS but no response. I hope this isn't dead subject.

the DIR-845 with dual-band dual radio. Sounds great. Not sure what the difference to DAP-1525 is though.

Hoping if DIR-645 gets dd-wrt support, DIR-845 would as well?

I'm going to bump this again. I would really like to see dd-wrt on this device. I tried OpenWRT but I don't like it. I much prefer the web GUI of dd-wrt. I know that there are lots of new and exciting ARM devices but this would be a nice one to have. I know there is some sort of partnership/agreement with brainslayer and d-link So I thought I would try this again.

Please Please Please... Smile

yes +1 for ddwrt support on dir645.

Hesitant on trying open wrt, it looks less friendly to the average home network admin.

I'm running the latest build of OpenWRT on the DIR-645 (OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05-rc1 / LuCI Master (git-15.126.50380-7a54785), and its stable.

It may not be DD-WRT, but its better than the original firmware. It has support for packages too, but for any real benefit, I'll have to figure out how to use the USB port.

I also would like DD-WRT to run on this router!!

Ditto me on also wanting DD-WRT on the DIR-645.

It's been a rock solid N router for me, but I'd love DD-WRT to be able to support better OpenVPN compatibility.

I would love to see DDWRT on this router, it was my daily router for about 3years, now it's sitting on a shelf with the Routers of Old, DIR-860L A1 brought me back to DDWRT from my Old Dir-601 and sir-615 days. I would be willing to work with a dev to get them any files they might need from it, pig you're a developer for DDWRT and want to add more devices into the lineup I'll even "risk" my DIR-645 for Alpha builds if that would help. It's an amazing router and I've been nothing but happy with it other than the fact DDWRT hasn't picked it up yet and no 5GHz band.
