I have spoken with support about setting up my own VPN server and they recommended that I purchase a Buffalo WHR-HP-G300NH with dd-wrt pre-flashed.
Problem is that I have no clue what to do next with openVPN. I would need to be able to connect remotely to the server and use the IP address from my remote PC. I don't need to share files between the computers. I would also need instructions on how to set it up (do I just plug it the ethernet cable, another router, etc..) I really am a novice so patience would be a virtue.
If anyone can do this in the Los Angeles area, let me know and we can discuss your fee.
