Hello,

I am submitting this in the hopes that a port to the Edimax BR-6475nD router can be made. The relevant data appears to be:

FCC-ID: NDD9564751027
Chipset: Ralink RT3092L
RAM: 64 MB, Winbond w9751g6jb
Flash: 8 MB, chip MX29LV640EBTI-70G, 64Mx8/16
Link to FCC photos

I don't want to open it up since it's a brand new router and under warranty, so I hope the FCC photos are good enough.

Cheers

RT3092L is not a chipset, it is a dual wifi radio.
No way to say if dd-wrt support is possible without knowing what cpu and what lan switch ic is used.

Hi klezman, did you make any progress? I'm about to purchase this router and would like to know if it supports Open-WRT.

Thanks!

The source code for the 6475nD refers to the rt3662f. There's a small thermal sink on 2 of the chips, and I'd rather not pull those off. Like said earlier it has an 8mb flash and 64mb ram. I'm really curious about the development of dd-wrt on this router. I would love to get involved any way I possibly could, I've been writing and compiling programs in C/C++/Java for the past few years, and Linux is my favorite platform to work with

Is there more information needed? Is a hardware donation needed?

Again, what would be needed to see support for this router? HW donation? Monetary donation? Do the devs not want to support this device? I would understand if that's the case, but it would be nice JUST TO KNOW...
