I'm having issues on speed link with this driver (5.100.138.9) on 17940 Kingkong build. It drops over time (few hours) from 144mbps to 78mbps and then 54mbps...*

It is so amazing and exciting to see active progress and development discussion for longstanding bugs (and seemingly ignored showstoppers) that have plagued DD-WRT in recent memory. Currently you guys aren't even rolling builds I can use but I still check the thread every day because I'm excited to see how things are coming along.

Is it normall that JFFS2 Support is not working or. is this just bug?
It reports 1,216.00 KB free but it is not working.

Hey, so this might be ignorant question but does any one know why my rate drops to like 5Mbps when my xbox slim connect to my E4200 (wl0)? With just my Sony Vaio it stays around 200Mbps~

Yes, I'm using that since last night as I posted on Kong's thread.
The dropping speed link has gone, but the wifi signal is "jumpy" with almost 10 dB of spread. :?
The wireless throughput is also more slow in about 26% vs 15508M Eko.
I asked for an info on 17949. Doest it has the same wifi driver?

My WDS wireless network is using BS Build 15962 and it's working great. I'm using the KONG Builds on my Gateway router that has the wireless disable.

With 17949 I also am still unable to go further 160/240(rarely)Mbps with my 300Mbps card, even with wl interference 2 used on wl1 @ 5Ghz. Didn't try wl interface with wl0 as I am using it with a slow smartphone that would render the test useless right now.
Hope next builds address these slow throughput problems.

I could simply do two startup scripts:

while [ 1 ]; do wl -i eth2 interference 2; sleep 30; done &

i think thats no good. you'll want to do something like this:
while [ 1 ]; do wl -i eth1 interference 2; wl -i eth2 interference 2; sleep 30; done &

What NIC are you connecting with? What channel is 5Ghz using?
My laptop with an Intel Ultimate-N 6300 AGN has no problems hovering around the 400Mbps mark to my E4200 rising to full 450Mbps when it feels like it. Though not quite as good the stock Cisco firmware which was a steady 450, I'm more than happy for the time being to be a little slower for much better functionality as I'm sure these kinds of issues will eventually be ironed out.
Also I found that the interference setting for the the 5Ghz made no difference so I have always left it at default, which BTW on mine is not "disabled" but "Non-wireless LAN Interference mitigation is enabled."

ok so I have been looking into why nslookup and wiviz segfault, and the simple answer is that it is the toolchain that dd-wrt uses in there download/sourcecode folder. The problem has been identified in the uClibc part, and dd-wrt has reported it as well. So I have posted information in the below thread if anyone here would like to give some light on the matter.... So I did mail kong and he had to copy the old libs from before uClibc update to get it to work.. I think just updating the toolchain could improve alot of things.
I agree we are seeing some weird things happening since 17201 with the wireless both 2.4 and 5ghz band. The major thing that has changed since then is the toolchain it went from 4.1.2 to 4.5.2 with lenaro enhancements.
Another thing is that the kernel still is at 2.6.23.
and does use the 4.1.2 toolchain to compile its source even though userspace uses 4.5.2 toolchain.. I think updating the kernel and updating the toolchain may improve these unstable results. Why? I think that the new broadcom drivers are completely different from the b43 days and updating to new iptables/kernel could stable things out. As new toolchain uses a completely new set of uClibc library's.
I welcome everyones thought and also if you wish to follow what I have posted in the compile forum.

I abandoned the idea because even launching them by terminal manually wasn't making the throughput change at all
I tried leaving the client connected, reconnecting, disabling it. Nothing. It's well updated too, so I can't understand why it does that: 300Mbps for 1-2-3 seconds and then drops to 120/160Mbps (max 240 2 m in los of the router itself). This doesn't change with trasmit power that I had lowered to 40,60,71, tried them all.

Intel 5100 AGN. As I was saying (don't remember if in this 3d or not, sorry) it's the same nic an user reported to be able to use @ 300Mbps (its max!) at 5Ghz with wl1. I tried all his settings, both on the client that on the router, with no luck at all. Even the interference didn't make any even slight difference.
I've tried N only 5Ghz, NA mixed, mixed in all the combinations with channels+width auto+auto, upper 161 and down+40mhz, auto+40mhz, and others, always the same results (sometimes worse).
Between all these (many) different tries two times I got the card "locked" at 300Mbps sending packets but receiving absolutely nothing, with counter at 0 and bandwith usage at 0%. I had to disable and re enable it. Oh, btw the card has many Intel settings after the driver upgrade, also something like "lock on a mac", so I could surely decide the wl1 mac, lock on 5ghz, "Cisco radio detection" and so on. I tried many with always the same bad results.

What you speaking about here? The bluetooth coexistence mode setting on the web ui? Or is this simply the common name of the "wl interference 2" command ?
