there is still nothing available for this device..
If I were to get a dump from my N600DB Wireless N+ Router Model F9K1102V1 (version 1003), would my data mean anything or would that data not help at all? Just interested in helping, if my data would give any assistance.

That's a start for sure, consider that the firmware is also available in an "open source" format on Belkin's website.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but has there been any known progress on these routers? Specifically the N450DB. It's been a pain searching for anything useful or relevant.

I'd like to see support for these devices as well. They can be had for 30-50 bucks now, which would make them a killer deal for a dd-wrt router.
I just picked up a N300 (F9K1002) and N450DB (F9K1105) for $5 each at a thrift store.
I expected the N300 to not have support, but I would have thought N450 would by now.

How could it be supported if everyone just thinks that it ought to be supported and no one donates a router to the developers so that they could do the porting?

Hi, I have a Belkin N300 Model F9K1002V4, any update for this router...??? There is any chance to run DD WRT on it..???
Hi i tryed installing a firmware and it failed needing a tftp flash my model is the f9k1102v1 and after the reflash it booted as follows see the atached boot capture i hope this helps if u need a better capture let me know. This would be a cool box to get dd-wrt on as its dirt cheep and 600n also i think it could easly have some external 5ghz areials installed
I dono if this is all ready linked but it has a lot of info on the f9k1102v1

im an idiot and I stand by my decision lol. To the best of my knowledge it appears that the Asus RT-N53 is the exact same router, can the firmware be ported over to this hunk of crap or possible convert it to a generic

I have an N300 (F9K1002V5) that I gave up on it ever being usable at all, and stuck it back in it's box. If some developer is interested in working on the firmware they can have it. Saves taking a sledgehammer to it and then mailing it to Belkin's CEO with a suggestion of where they should stick it, sharp corners and all.

After reading this I flashed the stock Asus RT-N53 firmware from the Asus website over the stock Belkin firmware on the f9k1102v1, and it worked. Set it up in repeater mode with the Asus software and it worked for a few minutes, but kept dropping the wifi connection (I think the same thing it did when I flashed tomato). Then I tried to update from Asus RT-N53 stock, to Asus RT-N53 dd-wrt, and it didn't come back up.
