|
Hello,
My device is Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH, firmware DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std, build 14896.
Via Services -> Services I enabled "SES / AOSS / EZ-SETUP / WPS Button", "Turning off radio" -> Enable.
Now when I press and hold it, I see the flash orange icon and indeed - it works.
However, what is confusing for me is that always in DD-WRT management, Radio seems to be On, even though it is off? Is this feature turning off radio somehow differently compared what I can from management (Wireless -> Wireless Network Mode: Disabled).
And what is more "worrying" for me is that looking Status -> Wireless, I can see "Transmitted (TX)" packets are increasing after I click on refresh. I don't understand why there are transmitted wireless packets when radio should be off?
Thanks for all answers |

Also addition: Wireless icon is always blinking, regardless if radio is on / off.
Only way to find out if WLAN is active or not is to use laptop and check, can't rely info from management or neither from WiFi led. |
