This guy managed to get OpenWRT working, and I can confirm that it works on my EA4500 which has the same hardware as the 4200v2.
Now, does anyone have the skills to do a DD-WRT mod based on his work? _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own.

The story has not changed for the last 3 years. Marvell chipsets such as the EA 4200 V2 and the EA 4500
are NOT and will NOT be supported here.
Have fun with OpenWRT. _________________ Segment 1 XR700 10Gb LAN, 1Gb WAN ISP BS

I also managed to flash OpenWRT on my E4200v2, but I wish DD-WRT was also available for this
Has anything changed with supporting the E4200v2/EA4500 recently? It seems to be fully supported by OpenWRT now. Is there a technical reason why DD-WRT why it won't work on these devices?

For starters this is the Broadcom forum and the V2/4500 is Marvell. Perhaps if you moved to the Marvell forum you'll get an answer. _________________ Segment 1 XR700 10Gb LAN, 1Gb WAN ISP BS

I appreciate the advice but it seemed more appropriate to stick with the big thread that already exists.

Last response to a petulant child repeatedly asking why.
