/jffs2 in ftp?

Hello. I use a router Linksys WRT54GL, with 4MB flash, and dd-wrt v23 std.
I want i install Miau, a irc bouncer.

I have not enough flash to stock anything in /jffs. I found a method to use a smb share to use it for exemple, but i wonder if i can use a ftp? (the only device always connected are my routers and the HDD in the TV device of my ips).
