Router Name DD-WRT
Router Model TPLINK TL-WDR3600 v1
LAN MAC 10:FE:ED:40:96:A5
WAN MAC 10:FE:ED:40:96:A6
Wireless MAC 12:FE:ED:40:96:A7
WAN IP Disabled
LAN IP 192.168.1.9
I can access the internet on all devices both wired and wireless as well as access my media server on all android devices as well as all my win7x64 machines.
However when I try to connect to my server with my xbox360 through the bridge it never sees it.
All other network tests on xbox360 pass. I can see my "laptop" connected wirelessly to the bridge when I scan for pc on the 360.
My laptop connecting through the bridge can see all my computers as well as 360.
If I connect my 360 directly to the gateway that I'm bridging via wifi that has the server hard wired I can see and connect to the server.

Can anyone help?
Your LAN IP should be 192.168.1.73 (Setup/Basic Setup/Network Setup/Local IP Address).

Hello msantos2007,
Spot on, thank you for helping out.
I'm able to access the NAS now, from secondary router.
And I also flashed to (SVN revision 22118)
I have follow up question.
Now, I'm able to connect to NAS from secondary router thru WIFI. But the speed of transferring files from secondary router is 1/10 th of the speed of primary router 3801HGV. (222 kb/s versue 2.5Mb/s)
I was disappointed, I was hoping TL-WDR3600+DD-WRT will be speedier.
Also, TL-WDR3600 is dual band, and 2.4GHz band is mapped to 3801HGV 2.4GHz band.
But TL-WDR3600 5.4GHz band , not sure if it's mapped.
Here's my setting, hope you can give advice on tuning to make transferring file faster.
Code:
Interface eth0 (2.4GHz Band)
RadioRadio is On
ModeClient Bridge
NetworkMixed
SSID 2WIRE445
Channel8 (2447 MHz)

SSID 24dd-wrt_vap

I'm afraid to tell I don't think there is an optimum setting that will help you out as long as your network is based on a G-router (3801HGV).
Here home, I quit using ISP's WiFi Router setting it as Bridge only, turning off WiFi and wiring it to a WDR3600 (router PPPoE). Then, a second WDR3600 is set as Client Bridge connected, through 5GHz (Ath1 - less interference and congestion), to the first, leaving the 2.4GHz bandwith free for other devices.
Of course, it doesn't justify having the 1/10th performance as you're experiencing, but I see there are many variables that might explain a poor performance.
I suggest you running performance tests incrementally, adding devices on every loop, in order to identify bottlenecks. I took days to get an acceptable performance.
I could to turn ISP's WiFi router to Bridge thanks a link on Internet.
Every ISP has its own setting, so you need to do some search or contact your ISP. Remember to backup your ISP router settings before messing with it.
On the WDR3600 side, it is quite simple:
- Go to Setup/Basic Setup/WAN Setup;
- Under WAN Connection Type/Connection Type, choose PPPoE;
- Set username and password as the same used on ISP's router;
- Reboot.

I have tried the static routing as suggested and no matter what the Xbox360 will not see my Media hosting PC.
It will see my laptop but only if connected to the same dlink dir615 with dd-wrt acting as the repeater.
And now for the really messed up part..... it wont even see my pc if connected wirelessly to the same router as my Media PC is directly hardwired to, which it used to.
I have wasted a week trying to figure this out.
I could use some help, I can supply a network map with all IP and subnet information.
