Hello everybody.
Some time ago I lent my Fonera to a friend who's tried to do an upgrade dd-wrt RC 6.2 (if I remember correctly) to (he says) RC 7. I don't know what's happened, he says that he used the upgrade command on DD-wrt web GUI.
The result is that now, via Ethernet, my PC can't obtain any ip address and redboot is unreachable via telnet or ssh.
The sequence is this:
power LED is lit. Internet LED flashes, then remains fixed and then turns off. And so on and on and on and on. My computer tries to get an ip address and loses the connection when the Internet LED is off.
Clearly there is no SSID dd-wrt.
I do not know if those who had the Fonera has tried to change ip address or something like that. I've not tried with serial (I've never tested this method). What should I do?
I've tried also this one http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/LaFonera_Software_Flashing#Recovery_of_a_non-responsive_LaFonera with no luck...
Remember, it takes at least 30 minutes to reprogram with a 6MB DD-WRT V24 preSP2 image.
F*** Yeah! Unbricking mission accomplished...
Old versions of Fon Flash didn't recognize my Lan card on windows 7 and I've been forced to use Xp, but there were some problems (no arp response or something like that). With the version you've linked, instead, it's gone all right on windows 7.
