WR740N v4 and CPU load

Hello, I have a 100mbit downlink line and the router is able to saturate that with 49-50% cpu load ( not sure if sirq in top means cpu). However when I turn on QoS and L7 protocol inspection my bandwidth shrinks to 20% of it's size and the sirq goes to nearly 100%.
Is this a normal load and can it be fixed trough different settings?
