Client Mode Issues

I have a Linksys E2000 running build 14929, which I have been trying for several days to get to operate in Client Mode with no such luck.

I followed the instructions here, to the letter, and the router simply will not connect.

If I'm missing something, please tell me. I even double checked the Peacock thread, tried N-only mode, set the CPU to 300MHz, everything I could find that's recommended on this forum and wiki. Still nothing.

I don't know what else I could do, could someone, anyone, please help me!?
