Hi,

I currently have a WRT54G running dd-wrt and I'm planning to get an E3000 and run it in repeater bridge mode to cover another part of my house with Ethernet+Wifi N.

Internet will be connected to the WRT54G using LAN from an ADSL modem. The new area that should be covered by the E3000 will have a media server running.

I have a couple of questions about this setup hope someone can help with.

Is it possible to configure the E3000 to use the 2.4Ghz band for repeater bridge mode, and have the 5Ghz dedicated for other use such as video streaming ?
If I connect to the 5Ghz band, will I still have internet access (from the 2.4Ghz repeater bridge) ?

Thanks in advance!
