hello out there.

i have less 30% good on TX packets on both wireless bands. RX is fine. i noticed it on two units.
I read somewhere, somewhow, Asus advised setting it lower than 50mw. can someone confirm this statement or read the same somewhere ?

Tx errors will always be higher; the device doesn't know when interference disrupts transmission of a packet. If no ACK is received it counts as an error. The Rx just counts packets that come through clearly and ignores unintelligible transmissions. You'll see the same thing on any device.

I had mine running at 100mW with little issue.

If less than 30% of transmitted packets get an ACK on both bands then I think the issue may be with the router. I live in an area saturated by 2.4 GHz networks and devices, and my B/G band traffic is still way above 90%, A band traffic even more successful.

You may have a bad unit. Try other firmwares and start with clean NVRAM each time. My N66 while running DD-WRT did pretty good on both bands as aforementioned.

ah i forgot, i had these days my notebook & printer wireless connected and i warched IPTV on my Desktop-PC. My wireless were flooded with mcast and my printer and notebook reconnect about hours without success. maybe this caused my many TX-errors ?
