It works on DIR-615 D1! Finally!
Thank you BrainSlayer!

OT
Starting from r16994 to have full 300 Mbps instead of 150 Mbps on the DIR-615 Dx you have to set this startup script:

Quote:

sleep 15
iwpriv ra0 set HtTxStream=2
sleep 5
iwpriv ra0 set HtRxStream=2
sleep 5
iwpriv ra0 set HtBssCoexApCntThr=10
sleep 5
iwpriv ra0 set AP2040Rescan =1

Is it possible to fix it?

In case this is of any use to you, how I broke the LAN on a DIR300b1

I have a pair of D-Link DIR-300 B1's

Both came down ( e-bay) with 18777 build on them.

I used one at home as a access point for a Client Bridge across to my workshop
DHCP disabled and the DIR300b1 connected to the modem router via LAN.

Bridge setup at the other end ( Client Bridge with WRT54Gl) , and full network visible both ways.
Internet available at the far end of bridge.

I thought I wold get smart, and hide the SSID, so i disabled SSID broadcast of AP, from the far end of bridge.
That broke the bridge so i had to go home to re set the SSID to Broadcast.
I did that and went back to far end of bridge.
Bridge connected, and I coudl view the AP end of Bridge from Client end.
BUT no network visible or internet.

On returning to AP end, i could not log on to AP via LAN.

3 or 4 hrs later, and multiple 30/30/30's and attempts to access Emergency room reset. I notice dd-wrt WiFi signal on the iPhone...
So it seems I can connect to it via WiFi and have tried re flashing via wifi various earlier builds. but LAN still dead

I have tried the version 18771 as linked to on the last page of this thread, and also the 18777 again, but still I have no LAN.

All I get is the green LAN port number light flashing very fast and continuously and never get an IP address assigned

If I can be of any help with Logs or whatever, let me know

Is there an earlier build that does work the LAN successfully? or at least a way via WiFi access only I can do an emergency room style restore to Factory from the ROM without LAN access.? I am suspecting possibly SSH or CLI?

Minor point but also noticed that the Web Gui , when viewed via Safari on an iPhone, two tabs do not work,: Administration and Status Noticed this in 18777 and earlier builds too
