Hi there,
I'm here in this forum as I'm looking for a solution to a problem with my existing router + ADSL.
Problem:
There is 1 desktop and 2 laptops at my place, 2 working on Windows XP and 1 running on Windows 7. For accessing internet, I use Teracom wireless ADSL-Router (Details @ http://www.teracom.in/images/pdf/telecom/adsl2_with_wifi.PDF) (also see attachment). It has 4 ethernet ports and a USB host port (currently disabled by manufacturer).
I want to connect my Canon MP287 all-in-one printer to wireless router so that it can be used from any desktop or laptop independently through the USB port.
Also, want to access my external USB hard disk by connecting it to the USB port on the wireless router (making it network drive).
Now, will, installing DD-WRT on my ADSL+Router in place of existing firmware, solve my problem. If yes, Please guide me on how to proceed.
It will not work. See the first post in this forum. _________________ SIG:
