Make sure you are using Intel E1000 VMware virtual NICs, all of the other ones (Flexible, VMXNet2/3) will either not work at all, or cause other sorts of issues. When I used the Flexible NIC driver back when I first set this up, DD-WRT recognized the NICs but CPU usage went straight to 100% after a few seconds and would never come back down again.
Am I right in my understanding that VMware builds are now directly available from dd-wrt.com? If so, can someone please point me in the right direction for downloading a recent svn version as a VM?

No, the link from 2007 is stalonge's private ftp that he was hosting a vmware image that he made for people to download. DD-WRT does not make VMWare images of DD-WRT.
Either set it up yourself in VMWare of wait till someone posts one. _________________ (05/02/17) std - 31924
