NOTE: Subject was previously "wpa2 enterprise repeater?" Changed in light of post #7.
Could anyone recommend an Atheros-based wireless router that can serve as a repeater on a network that uses WPA2 Enterprise for authentication? To be clear, I want to connect the physical interface in Client Bridge mode to a network that uses WPA2 Enterprise, then repeat that signal by adding a virtual interface, etc.
I tried doing this using the Atheros-based Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH (DD-WRT version), but it will authenticate via WPA2 Enterprise only in AP mode, not in Client Bridge mode. I'm looking for a device in a similar price range as the WZR-HP-G300NH ($40-$90), but I'll gladly entertain any and all recommendations.
Thanks!

However, I was unable to authenticate on the physical interface because the wireless router I was using does not support WPA2 Enterprise under DD-WRT in Client Bridge mode.
Could you say a little more about where you believe I went wrong? If not, perhaps you could offer a suggestion for an Atheros wireless router that supports authentication via WPA2 Enterprise under DD-WRT in Client Bridge mode?
wzr-hp-g300nh doesn't work in client bridge mode with vap (dhcp reply is dropped)! but wzr-hp-g300nh v2 does.
client bridge to wpa2 enterprise works.
for eap-tls you have to modify wpa_supplicant.conf.
It looks like I have WZR-HP-G300NH v1, unfortunately. I'll look around for v2. In the meantime, if anyone else has recommendations for an Atheros-based wireless router that will authenticate under DD-WRT via WPA2 Enterprise in Client Bridge mode on the physical interface, I'd appreciate it.
Perhaps there is a way for me to determine whether a given wireless router supports authentication via WPA2 Enterprise in Client Bridge mode under DD-WRT? Perhaps there is a feature list for various routers somewhere on the website? If so, I haven't yet found it...

Okay, if no one can provide suggestions for Atheros-based routers that support WPA2 Enterprise in Client Bridge mode, and no one knows how I might make this determination myself, I'll ask about a particular router:
Does anyone know whether the Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N supports WPA2 Enterprise in Client Bridge mode?
I'm still interested in suggestions. However, I'll stop replying to this thread until someone else can add something.
